Travel to Ascona
Ascona is located at the shore of Lago Maggiore in the south of Switzerland. It is close to the Italian border. The next international airports are Milan Malpensa and Milan Linate. Alternatively, one can travel to Geneva, Zurich or Basel.
Visa
Switzerland is not part of the European Union, but part of the Schengen treaty. This means that you can enter Switzerland with a Schengen Visa.
